165專線：一到八月詐騙損失金額高達44億

165反詐騙專線統計，今年一月到八月，民眾被詐騙損失金額高達新台幣44億5千多萬，以報案數來說，網拍詐騙佔了三成一，其次才是公務詐騙。
同時，警方分析發現，歹徒通常是選擇在銀行要關門前打電話給民眾，要求民眾當天就要匯款，讓民眾在沒時間查證的情況下，損失大筆金錢，等到發現有狀況，要作止付的動作，已經為時已晚。

今年一到八月，警政署165反詐欺專線總共接獲18000多件報案，其中，網拍詐騙有將近六千件，佔報案數的三成一，其次，是公務詐騙的兩千三百多件，佔了報案數二成三。
警方也統計，在這八個月內，民眾被詐騙的金額高達新台幣四十四億五千多萬，其中歹徒假冒公務機關詐騙，就得手了近二十四億元。
對於民眾常接獲歹徒詐騙電話的時間，往往都在下午三點半銀行要關門前，警政署長侯友宜認為，歹徒選擇的犯罪時間點，容易讓民眾在無法冷靜查證的情況下，受騙上當。

因此，警方也指出，民眾不論是接到什麼人要求轉帳、匯款的電話，都應該先向165專線查詢，避免受騙。
